This is the year for advancing and changing. I have a few things I have been meaning to update but I have been so busy getting photos out to clients I never had the chance. Eventually over this last year I have caught up which has cleared some space in my mind to get things done. Firstly was my logo which I am now happy to say is exactly how I want it so next is my website. I have been updating it for 5 months now!!!! Yes I said 5 months so enough is enough and I am full steam ahead and to do that I am setting a deadline and telling everyone about it. Website will be online on the 13th January. So that’s it I have set the date I may get going at sorting these pages into order.
Next on the list is books, but yes that’s boring so I won’t bore you all with that but it is a priority which I will be looking into organising better.
Next is training. I need to focus on more training to update my styles and also to practice techniques which I have been wanting to use within weddings and the studio but never set the time to practice them. I will be booking myself into some training courses and working hard to put them into practice.
Last for this year is promotion of the business. I am clean useless at posting to social media regularly so I will set a task to post on my social media every day in 2020. That fills me with dread as who wants to see my everyday life with kids, household tasks and sitting at a computer…well be prepared to be bored stiff is all I can say. I did do wedding fairs but I am taking this form of promotion away as I don’t get the results I want from them so them funds will be reallocated into other events, watch this space.
Maybe I am mad but from 1st January I will have a lot to do so it will be time to get working again. Until then I will relax and enjoy some more quality streets.
